Introduction: Today, information is considered the most crucial pillar of organizational development. For proper management of hospitals, information must be collected correctly, and after monitoring, classification, and inference, on time and at the disposal of all hospital decision-makers. The field of health and treatment is vibrant in terms of data but low in terms of information. To compensate for this weakness, managers and employees spend a lot of time and energy to produce and analyze reports and charts, which can be extraordinarily burdensome and tedious. In addition to the dissatisfaction of medical staff, decisions about organizational issues may be The purpose of this study is to determine the need to use the dashboard to monitor hospital wards' performance.Methods: This study is a review study that in order to find related articles, search in Google Scholar, Science Direct and PubMed databases using a combination of keywords KPI visualization, dashboard, hospital performance evaluation in the period 2019- 2010 took place. 86 articles were found, and finally, 20 articles met the inclusion criteria.Results: Research shows that dashboards have been created in different hospital parts such as the emergency department, intensive care unit, nursing, maternal care, operating room, laboratory, radiology, and infection control. Using dashboards, managers can briefly look at their department's status in terms of good or bad performance, identify existing problems, analyze their root causes, and finally solve problems by using the same reliable information to act and improve their performance.Conclusion: Conclusion: Considering the capabilities of management dashboards, their Use in clinical wards and hospital administration causes timely recognition of problems, performance improvement, error reduction, optimal resource management, increased collaboration between different departments, and reduced data redundancy. Will be. Therefore, it seems necessary to take practical steps to develop managers and providers of health services by creating the necessary conditions for developing management dashboards and appropriate culture.
