Investigating the impact of remote medical practice on the management of Covid 19 disease:Preventive and curative measures

Introduction: Telemedicine is a valuable tool in the treatment and prevention of diseases and provides health care.Today, due to the global Covid 19 disease pandemic, this new technology can help health professionals manage this contagious disease and break the infectious chain of disease transmission. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of telemedicine performance on the management of Covid 19 disease . Methods: This study was conducted systematically by searching Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases and using PRISMA workflow diagrams to select articles. English language input and time range 2019-2020 were used for the search. There were about 81 articles, of which 42 were included in the study. Then, the articles' qualitative evaluation was performed based on the abstract list of CASP diagnostic tests with 12 questions, and finally, 10 articles related to the study were selected. Results: The review of articles showed that telemedicine has an undeniable role in the field of treatment and prevention of Covid 19 and the forward trend in the provision of health care. Therefore, due to its low cost and easy accessibility, it has been considered by physicians and health professionals for use in the treatment and prevention of coronary heart disease (n = 3). The results also indicate that telemedicine has increased resilience to Covid 19 disease in the current crisis and has become an integral step in technological approaches to Covid 19 disease management (prevention and treatment). Is (n = 4). Therefore, rapid monitoring of the number of patients under screening, continued provision of care to patients after discharge, the ability to follow up and track patients, etc , are some of the advantages and solutions of this technology for the management of Covid 19 (n = 5). Conclusion: According to the studies and the findings, telemedicine has achieved satisfactory results, but the widespread use of this technology requires its infrastructure. Moreover, it requires extensive research. Nevertheless,we need a strategic plan to implement this technology.
