چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Transparency of the process of encouragement and disciplinary control of personnel is one of the most critical managers and personnel concerns at different levels. This study aimed to investigate the process of encouragement in Imam Reza Hospital and its electronification. Methods: The study was performed by an action research method in Imam Reza (AS) Hospital in Mashhad. The steps of determining the fundamental problem, planning, interpreting, and analyzing the data, and execution were completed. Key stakeholders included two head nurses, a nursing manager, a human resources manager, a hospital manager, and a computer engineering expert. In this study, first, in the focus group meetings, the topics of encouragement and disciplinary control were determined. The relevant standard process was then defined from the requester of encouragement to the approver and finally the issuer of encouragement. The mentioned process was then entered as software as a specific module in the electronic infrastructure in the HIS of Imam Reza Hospital. Results: First, during the research team meetings, the titles allowed to encourage the nursing staff (12 cases) were determined in clauses. The titles are allowed to be registered as disciplinary control (15) in the form of titles. The approval process is passed through the relevant clinical supervisor, and finally, the applicable incentive and disciplinary control are registered in the Human Resources Department. The initiation of the incentive process can also be done through hospital evaluators and supervisors, who will approve the incentive or disciplinary control at all stages. Conclusion: Clarification of topics and processes of encouragement and disciplinary control in organizations is essential in motivating people to try harder. With the electronification of this issue in Imam Reza (AS) Hospital Complex, it is expected that this process will lead to more transparency and motivation of employees for better activities.
