چکیده مقاله:
Intrudoction: Increasing medical errors have increased the concerns of patients and treatment staff. Medical errors are part of the inevitable consequences of human action that can lead to significant life and financial errors. Evaluating and evaluating clinical errors may be a way to prevent or reduce them. The use of information technology in the health system can improve the relationship between systems and clinical and non-clinical practices, create good coordination between them, and significantly reduce clinical errors and increase patient health. The purpose of this article is to review the Health Information Technology System (HIT) in reducing clinical errors. Methods: This search was performed in PubMed, Google Scholar, sid, and Alamnet databases with the keywords HIT and clinical errors and the health system from 2010 to 2020. Study-related articles were evaluated based on inclusion criteria (presence of both HIT variables and clinical errors in study summaries from 2010 to 2020) and exclusion (no further articles) by three independent researchers. Results: Out of 26 articles, 18 articles were selected after quality evaluation and used in this study. About half of all clinical errors are due to incomplete information about patients and medications. Two systems are most effective in information technology to prevent clinical errors. These systems can automatically suggest a specific treatment for a doctor's examination based on available clinical data. CDSS (Clinical decision system support) system is a clinical backup system, and COPE (Computerized physician order entery) system, a computerized registration system for physicians and health care providers. The use of information technology includes other benefits such as reducing treatment costs and increasing the quality of communication and coordination of nurses' information with each other and access to new medical information and findings and increase speed in medical prescriptions and prevent duplication of tests and prescriptions. The use of COPE and CDSS systems is likely to reduce clinical errors further. The COPE system covers all the problems in the quality of health care. Another system is the EHR, which increases treatment effectiveness with medical reminders and warnings, which is very useful for diabetics and other diseases. Conclusion: The use of information technology requires conditions such as population and policy in the hospital and the ability of people and medical staff, and indeed must be adequately trained before the medical staff and people and the benefits of using this system for doctors and nurses Description Be given so that they can be better used.
