چکیده مقاله:
Slopes are geological structures whose stability is of great significance in the realm of geological engineering. The slope instability leads to landslides which bring financial and human losses. By considering Iranian Plateau, an actively seismic and mountainous region, this issue gets its specific significance. Prevalent methods of slope stability are based on laboratory test methods and trenching with high costs. geophysics provide is indirect and less expensive methods, supplementary to laboratory test methods that enable obtaining information from subsurface structures. In this paper, the most prevalent geophysical method in slope stability, geoelectric, and a case study has been presented.
