Evaluation of cutaneous leishmaniasis in the city Lamerd years 2004-2014

Background: Leishmaniasis is one of the six patients with the importance of the tropics the World Health Organization has recommended that research on it. This study was conducted to assess cutaneous leishmaniasisLamerd city. Method: This study was conducted Cross-sectional the information including age, sex, number of lesions, tumor location, location and type of building the collected and eventually by using SPSS version 22 was analyzed. Finding: from 907 cases studied , 437 men (48.1 %) and 470 were female (51.8 %). Greatest amount age group of disease 0-9 years and the lowest age group for persons above 60 years. 60.9 % of the patients in rural and 39.1 % were urban. 51.8% of patients in new homes and the rest lived in the old house. 62.6 % of patients had more than one ulcer and most members are involved hands had formed.Conclusion: This study showed that under ten years age group of are most at risk and that pattern is different from sex with other regions of the country. Also seen more commonly inrural areas therefore, we must control efforts to prevent with training groups considered at risk.
