Background: Cancer may be a major public ill-health worldwide which may cause symptoms and problems like pain, fatigue, loss of appetite, and psychological problems like anxiety and depressive moods. Geographical barriers also prevent the elderly from reaching hospitals to hunt medical aid, while the shortage of hospital beds prohibits proper monitoring of these with chronic illness. Moreover, missed appointments remain a really crucial issue, as patients may need to wait as long as a month to be seen by an appropriate physician. For these reasons, health care systems are looking for digital solutions to reinforce patient care and broaden prevention efforts. Thus, the target of this study is to research The Effect of telenursing follow-up on improving medical care in Cancer patients.Method: A literature search from 2000 to 2020 was conducted using multiple databases (PubMed, Web of Science, and Embase) and using keywords of cancer, follow up, telenursing to spot related studies regarding the research question. Findings: Totally 11 studies included during this review. consistent with the results of the reviewed articles, there was an immediate relationship between telenursing follow up and improving medical care in cancer patients. during this population, the most causes of poor managing of the disease include depression, anxiety, distress, fear of recurrence and lower levels of social support; and psychological and social needs, and problems coping. Common experiences for those living with and beyond cancer include reduced ability, fatigue, changes in sexual intercourse and developing other medical conditions that affect function for several years. Furthermore, it's been proven that they will provide better assessment and education on self-care, provide informational and emotional support to cancer survivors and caregivers.Conclusion: The results indicate that Using telemedicine can have an excellent effect on improving medical care, physical activity, diet, symptom management, and palliative care. Consequently, consistent with the shortage of study in IRAN, it's suggested that a study with this aim places a priority on research projects.
