چکیده مقاله:
Background: Today, providing educational booklets to patients during discharge is not enough and does not prevent them from returning to hospital alone. This type of training should be followed up. The term tele-nursing refers to the provision of nursing services with the use of communication technologies. These communication technologies can be telephones, computers or the Internet. The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of telephone follow-up in patients.Method: This search was conducted in SID, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Google scholar, with the keywords of Telesursing, Patients, Discharge,Telehealth in the period 2000 to 2019.10 articles have been included in the study. Findings: Nursing follow-up and distance education by nurses improve patients' self-care, self-management, and patient independence. This helps the patient and his / her family to participate actively in the treatment. Patients who are being followed are likely to change their inappropriate health behaviors and reduce health costs, save time and play an important role in the rehabilitation of patients. Conclusion: The disadvantage of this method is that in telephone follow-up communication is purely verbal and the client receives the message but may not understand it. It turns out that the value of phone tracking is lower than face to face. This technology transforms care from hospital-based to community-based and from orbital care to client-centered.
