The impact of Political stability on tourism demand: case study Middle East countries

Development in the tourism industry and international tourist's interest in different countries as a tourist destination depends on Various Variables such as the economy, politic and etc. The aim of this paper is a study of political stability effect (include: Social uncertainties, fight against terrorisms' costs, ethnic, regional and religious tensions, Governance stability, secret organization) in different Middle East countries on tourism demand for travel. For the purpose of this study based on the data panel pattern, researchers use data which is collected between "2000-2019" in Middle East countries. Results show that political stability and its improvement in Middle East countries have a Positive and significant impact on international tourism demand. Moreover, other variables such as GDP, GDP per capita and travel costs in the tourism industry have an impact on tourism demand to travel to Middle East countries.
