چکیده مقاله:
In this research, the equilibrium studies of reactive dye adsorption from aqueous solution were investigated using spent tea leaves (STL). Batch experiments were conducted to study the effects pH (2–12), adsorbent dosage (0.1–3 g L-1), initial dye concentration (10–60 mg L-1), and contact time (5- 100 min) on dyeadsorption. Results reveal that the equilibrium was attained within 60 min having 2 gL-1 STL at pH of 7 and the maximum equilibrium capacity was observed 112.6 mg g-1. The spent tea leaves adsorbents were highly effective as adsorbents for the removal of reactive dye from aqueous solution
