The social networking sites offer a straightforward way for people to have a simple social presence through web. They provide a virtual environment for people to share each and every activity, their interests, and their circle of acquaintance with their family, friends, or even the unknown. According to the so much sharing, hackers and thieves have found very easy ways to steal personal information through these networking sites. Information security is very important these days to anyone using a computer or to any organization that employs computers and networking in their day to day operations. That is nearly everyone. Information security should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind since so much of our personal information is out there on the Internet this calls for advances in security protocols to safeguard against hackers which form the basis of this research. This architecture improves the customization of profiles. Findings suggest that only a proper knowledge of the hacking strategies will prove the best defense in the war against cyber attacks.
