Near Field and Far Field Characteristics of Bulk Semiconductors

This study focuses on optical near field and far field of some dielectric bulks, constructed of recognized semiconductor materials including silicon (Si), Germanium (Ge), and Gallium Arsenide (GaAs). According to the simulation results, the utilized dielectric materials demonstrate different optical characteristics that make them suitable for relatively distinct applications. The study results are presented in the paper.
