The Study of Continuous Monitoring Influence on a Ready-Mixed Concrete Factory Units and The effect of Quality Management on it. Case Study: Fahab-Beton Ready-mixed Concrete Factory

These days, the competitional concrete market in metropolises like Tehran, has driven ready-mixed concrete producers towards increasing their preciseness to support qualitative indexes in order to satisfy the costumers and maintain their share from the market. Establishment of quality control unit and to organize the system in a manner that all other units such as laboratory, production and transportation units perform as sub-units of this major unit is an action leading to achieve the above-mentioned goal. Throughout this thesis it is tried to study the effect of continues monitoring of all these units in daily, monthly and annual periods and the way the periodic reports of these units' deviations and errors through recorded data and also to study the role of the integrated quality management unit at the top of this organization considering the arrangements and decisions made in Fahab Beton ready-mixed concrete factory that holds the first place among all pioneer concrete factories regarding its quality management activities in Tehran metropolis. The out-puts of this study are about quality indexes of ready-mixed concrete, to classify the units affect the quality of concrete products taking advantage of existing statistics, fault probabilities, deviation assessment criteria of each unit such as inspecting the material entry, the performance of truck-mixers, batching plants and concrete pumps implementing parameter analysis and also critical combinations of choices taking advantage of statistical analysis and also to study the effect of quality management decisions on product quality, according to recorded data.
