Evaluating the Conditions of Students with Physical and Motor Disabilities in Khatam-al-Nabiyyin Girl's Elementary School

چکیده مقاله:
Paying attention to space standards is extremely important ineducational centers. According to this, it is necessary to pay specialattention to the needs of individuals in designing schools based onmotor-behavioral patterns.The purpose of this research is to discusseducational centers' standards for students who deal with disabilitiesand improve the quality of these centers based on the demands of thesestudents.The method of research in this article is field analysis ofKhatam-al-Nabiyyin school in Tabriz city. This article tries to examinethe spaces of this school by world standards and the end, provideappropriate solutions for improving the quality of the school'sdesign.Findings reveal that the quality of school ground is, 35% suitableand 40% unsuitable, building entrance and school lobby are, 50%suitable and 30% unsuitable; classrooms' design and their entrance doorare respectively 35% and 50% suitable, and 40% and 30% unsuitable;bathroom designs are 50% suitable and 30% unsuitable and stairdesigns are 50% suitable and 30% unsuitable. According to findings,we can conclude that Khatam-al-Nabiyyin girl's elementary schooldoesn't have the necessary standards for students with a physicaldisability, therefore a method has been proposed for utilization of thisschool for girls with disability.
