چکیده مقاله:
In this investigation, a 2D heat transfer wave propagation is analyzed numerically. It is assumed that the center part of the plate is connected to heat source so that it has constant temperature boundary conditions. Temperature distribution in the plate is obtained by lattice Boltzmann method (LBM). The obtained results from numerical solution are validated against those available in the different references and in some comparisons studies, a finite element solution is also obtained. The comparisons of the results show that there is good agreement between them. Also in this study a comparison between the LBM and FVM is done for considered geometry.
