Nowadays, The energy crisis and environmental pollution are the two major obstacles for man. New techniques and green building design for sustainable architecture are thetwo ways to avoid these conditions. One of the technologies of the sustainable architecture is Trombe wall, which is used for heating and ventilation. In this article,first, we analyzed passive Solar systems and all types of the trombe walls. And then introduced and categorized the phase change materials and Subsequently, explained all Types of thermal energy storage methods using this material. Phase change materials store thermal energy during the phase change and release it when the temperature drops. The importance of using these materials in addition to environmental and technical issues in its economic justification. The purpose of this paper is to identify the trombe wall with phase change materials and its role in optimizing energy consumption. The research methodology is based on adaptive method and library studies. The results and findings suggest that the use of phase change materials in the trombe wall will naturally result in its adaptation to ambient temperature fluctuations and lower energy consumption.
