چکیده مقاله:
In the present work, TiO2 nanosheets (TNs) and TiO2 nanosheets impregnated with cadmium sulfidenanoparticles (CdS-TNs) were synthesized by hydrothermal method to compare the photocatalytic degradationof tetracycline (TC) antibiotic under visible light. The structural and morphological characteristics of thesynthesized samples were identified with the help of FESEM/EDX, XRD and Raman techniques.The photocatalytic efficiency of the synthesized samples was investigated by degradation of thetetracycline (TC) (Conc:30 mg / L) under visible light. We obtained 44.21% and 82.74% TC degradation in thepresence of pure nanosheets (TNs) and binary nanocomposite (CdS-TNs) respectively after 180 minutes ofirradiation under visible light.
