Poly chlorinated biphenyls PCBs represent a mixture of chlorinated biphenyl compounds with varying chlorine content . 2,2',4,4',5,5'-hecxachlorobiphenyl or 2,2',4,4',5,5' PCB polychlorinated PCB-153 is one of the components of the PCB oils. PCBs can inter the waste water through different ways such as leakage of the PCB oil in system or washing the generation unit electrical power plants the removal of PCB-153 from water has been studied by ozone and catalyzed ozonation with nano -titanium oxide . the effectiveness of catalytic degradation of PCB-153 in several PHs WAS evaluated .
