Audio Signal Features and Processing

This paper introduced and examined some features of audio signals. To process an audio signal in the first stage, the proper feature was identified in the audio signal and then it was extracted with different methods. After extracting the required features from the audio signal by feature classification, processing operations such as sound identification and audio signal classification were performed. Types of features were initially examined in general or in terms of objective to introduce some of the important features of sound, and then linear prediction coefficients, autocorrelation function and spectrogram image of sound were extracted and investigated as important features of the audio signal.
