Cloud computing has proposed the development and employment of computer resources based on theInternet, for using easy from a source of information, hardware, applications to users. Cloud computingchallenges are security, scheduling, reliability, and load balancing. One of the significant issues in cloudcomputing is load balancing, which means a fair distribution of tasks between resources. The articlefocuses on the architecture, the different divisions of static and dynamic load balancing, and loadbalancing mechanisms. The load balancing mechanisms have compared in parameters such as overload,response time, resource utilization, migration time, fault tolerance, scalability.
