Effective Illuminating the Optical Bowtie Nanoantenna

Optimization of optical source location to efficiently excite the gold bowtie nanoantenna within an optical-plasmonic structure is presented in this investigation. In order to achieve the resonance wavelength at λ = 1.55 µm, considering the illuminating the structure from bowtie nanoantenna side, the distance of the electric dipole as the input source is varied from the structure. FDTD simulation results are reported.
