Modeling of Asphaltene Precipitation in one Iranian Field

this study describes a procedure to simulate the weight percent of asphatene precipitate at different pressures & tmperatures conditions , also investigate the effect of gas addition and solution like benzene and resin to asphaltene precipitation of a typical iranian oil reservoir that produce asphagtene during the production. experimental data consist of measurement the asphaltene precipitation at reservoir temperature of 289.4 F and different pressures also appearance and disappearance pressures at three different temperatures. a pure solid model is used to model the asphaltene precipitation. the parameters of the solid model are adjusted to match the asphaltene precipitation data. at the end by using hirschberg equation volume fraction of asphaltene that is soluble and amount that precipitate is calculated.
