چکیده مقاله:

The aim of a geological reservoir modeling is to integrate the whole reservoir geological data (i.e.geophysic , geology and petrophysic ). This fine grid model is the base of simulation grid and can used to identify productive zones , hydrocarbon volume calculation and optimum production and reservoir management many different techniques can used to generate 3D- reservoir models . of these methods in the present study the geostatistical method is used for 3D-modeling of the asmari reservoir in the marun oil field south -west of iran. structural and petrophysical.models were provided using RMS (reservoir modeling system ) softwaref the out put data of the project, suggests the trend ot the oil field is similar to that of zagros asymmetrical anticline with the average dip of 45-60 degrees in SW flank and 25-45 degrees is the NE flank. fault model and well data are indicating no effect of faults in the reservoir zones. petrophysical modeling was done using log data and performing data analysis to build the best experimental variogram for stochastic simulation . base on prepared petrophysical model , heterogeneity and reservoir quality changes in two different scale has happened: large scale heterogeneities, in size of sequences , identified by alternating siliciclastic and carbonate lithology and small scale heterogeneities in size of cycle , identified by alternating of high and low porosity segements. based on mean porosity , water saturation and NTG values , zones 1-1,1-2,2-1-2,2-2,3-1-2 and 3-2 are high quality reservoir zones which should be considered in production and reservoir developments.
