چکیده مقاله:

In this paper an experimental investigation has been done to improve the load bearing capacity of reinforced concrete members which were strengthened by various composite fibers (E-GFRP). eleven square reinforced slabs (550mm×550mm) with different thicknesses (45 and 55 mm) and nine square specimen which had 1400mm length and 1200mm net spans (150mm×150mm cross section) have been constructed for tests. All the slabs were designed for investigation of punching shear failures and The E-GFRP composites were in tension side and also it was placed on some of specimens in holes vertically. Slabs on all four sides were simply on supports and was loaded through a column (50mm×50mm) that was in the center of every slab. All the beams were designed to investigate the shear failure and E-GFRP composites were placed in tension sides and edges of specimens. The beams were placed on simple supports and was loaded by tow point loads that were in 1/3 distance from each other. The results showed that using E-GFRP composites the reinforced concrete members loading capacity was significantly increased.
