چکیده مقاله:
The aim of this project is to synthesize C3N4-TiO2 nanocomposite (TUNC) photocatalyst and evaluate its efficiency in reducing water nitrate. Due to the increasing contamination of municipal water with a variety of pollutants, the low efficiency of conventional methods of nitrate reduction is essential for this project. In this project, first the TUNC photocatalyst was synthesized and then its photocatalytic application in water nitrate reduction was investigated by UV-Visible spectroscopic method. The values of 0.06, 0.08 and 0.1 g of photocatalyst were investigated for one hour in order to remove 100-ppm nitrate solution. Sampling was performed every 10 minutes. The highest nitrate removal rate was achieved in the first 10 minutes at 0.1 g.
