چکیده مقاله:

There are several factors that affect the active earth pressure on a retaining wall and all these factors can make more accurate analysis. In this paper, parameters, including cohesion, the friction angle between soil and wall, internal friction angle of the soil and the effect of line surcharge were assessed and the pseudo-static method was used for seismic analysis. The non-dimensional design chart proposed in the present study was used to calculate the active earth pressure on a retaining wall, taking all parameters into account. In addition, MATLAB or interpolation within chart was used to analyze the retaining wall with other values. The results of this study indicated that the seismic earth pressure coefficient increased with an increase in pseudo-static horizontal coefficient and line surcharge, but it decreased with an increase in the adhesion and internal friction angle of the soil. In general, changes in the friction angle between the soil and the wall were varied.
