Background and Aim : Background: Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic gram-negative bacterium and causes urinary tract infections, respiratory tract, skin inflammation, soft tissue infections and a variety of systemic infections, especially in burn patients and those with tissue damage. Increased antibiotic resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa has led to it being introduced as one of the most important nosocomial infections. Carbon Nano Tubes (CNTs) are important and efficient antibacterial agents. In this study, research was conducted on the effect evaluation of nanofluids containing carbon nanotubes on Pseudomonas aeruginosa for prevention of wound infections. Methods : Methods: Standard and pathogens strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were treated under different doses of Nanofluid (NF) containing Functionalized Multi-wall CNTs (MWCNTs) with concentration of 2mg/ml, NF and Antibiotic alone and NF with Antibiotic. Then the MIC and MBC tests were performed for all treated strains. Results : Results: In this study, it was observed that multiwalled carbon nanotubes can have antimicrobial effects on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and their resistance to ciprofloxacin and imipenem antibiotics was significantly reduced. However, to obtain more accurate results, we carry out specialized cellular and molecular research. Conclusion : Conclusion: For the first time, the effects of nanofluids containing carbon nanotubes on the antibiotic resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa have been investigated to prevent wound infections.
