چکیده

Biosynthesis of nano particles seems to be promising and appropriate route (especially in clinical diagnostic and therapy) due to their obvious characteristic such as nontoxicity, and environmental friendliness [1]. Recently, the focus of scientists has been turned into biosynthesis of metal particles using some living organisms and applying them in clinical fields as an anti-microbial, anti-cancer and anti-fungal [2]. Among all cyanobacteria, bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes, biomolecules and various plant materials have been explored, plant materials have drawn much attention due to their excellent properties, such as availability and low cost [3]. Since the plants extract rich in phenols, flavonoids and tannin, they can be a suitable option for the synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles. Herein, Rhus typhina were collected from zanjanbar village located in Khorram Dasht Rural District, in the Central District of Kashan County, Isfahan Province, Iran, to investigate its potential as a biofactory for the cupper nano particles synthesis. Synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles copper has been performed using the following procedures; first, 20 ml of 1 mM aqueous solution of copper (II) sulfate was added in 20 mL of Rhus typhina leaves extraxt under constant stirring using magnetic stirrer at the temperature of 100 oC. Within few hours, the deep blue solution gradually became colorless and then turned slowly to brick red coloration which changed to dark after vigorous stirring for 24 h. Color changing during the reduction of CuSO4 inoto copper oxide nanoparticles is shown in Fig. 1. In order to confirm the copper nanoparticles, FT-IR and XRD analyses were performed and shown in Fig.2, the results were in agreement with the literature [4].
