چکیده

In the Cold War context and affected by structure of that era, which, structure imposed political and security orientations, under these circumstances, Turkey also to ensure its security and survival tend to the West block. On the other hand by collapse of the cold war environment economical requirements resulted that Turkey's foreign policy continue in convergence with western countries. But with the rise of Islamists in 2002, the Turkish government ignored European values and western countries interests in many of its foreign policy maneuvers. This paper seeks to answer this question that what Paradigm shifts in Turkish foreign policy with the rise of the AKP in 2002 happened? This research, analysis Turkish foreign policy in the second half of the 20th century due to the dominance of western-orientated discourse and Kemalism principles, within the framework of mainstream theories, and the AKP's foreign policy with respect to the changes in the interpretation of the ruling elite in Turkey based on constructivism theory. It's noteworthy that this article is going to apply analytical - comparative method as its method.
