چکیده

In this work, an experimental study was carried out to investigate equilibrium and thermodynamic of methane separation from hydrogen with multiwalled carbon nanotubes. The experiments were performed for three different temparatures as well as different pressure in the range of 0-50 bar. It was observed that this type of multiwalled carbon nanotubes are efficiently suitable for separating CH4/H2. Enthalpy change values (ΔH) were calculated via Clapeyron-Clausius equation. It was indicated that the adsorption is feasible, favored and exothermic process in nature. Obtained results were compared with Langmuir-Freundlich isoterms equations and they were fitted very well.
