چکیده
A new method of treating cancer has been developed, which involves exposing the body to non-contactelectric fields. This treatment aims to decrease the occurrence of cancer.Because living cells consist ofions, polar or charged molecules, membranes, and organelles, they are responsive to and often generateelectric fields and currents. The electric activity of cells plays a key roll in many essential biologicalprocesses. The electric fields associated with all of the above phenomena are in the range of ۰–۱۰ V/cm,"Kidneys and livers have dielectric properties that exhibit time-.except within cell membranestemperature dependence .This means that they have electrical conductivity and permittivity Accordingto Porter et al. understanding the dielectric properties of biological tissues is crucial for various medicaldevice applications such as cancer diagnosis and treatment. Indeed, studies have shown that exposure tomedium-frequency and low-intensity electric fields can successfully inhibit the proliferation of cancercells. The use of medium-frequency is preferred for cancer treatment because it specifically targetscancer cells without affecting normal cells, as normal cells have a higher membrane potential. Comparedto cancer cells the kidney and liver have dielectric properties that are affected by time and temperature.۴-۶ This means that they have both electrical conductivity and permittivity.
