چکیده :

This study examines the impact of increased job stress on the productivity of female employees in companies related to the automotive industry in Iran. The automotive industry, due to its complex nature and continuous pressures, is considered one of the most stressful work environments for women. This research employed mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative), with data collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with 150 female employees across six selected companies in the provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, and Markazi. The results indicated a significant negative correlation between job stress and productivity in this group of employees. The main factors contributing to increased job stress included role conflict, lack of social support, and family pressures. Additionally, significant differences were observed in the levels of job stress and productivity based on job position and experience level. This study highlights that proper management of job stress and attention to the unique conditions of women in this industry can lead to improved productivity and reduced job stress. Recommendations for reducing job stress and increasing productivity among female employees in the automotive industry are also provided.
