چکیده :
The teaching of English as a foreign language in Iran presents a complex and multifaceted challenge. Over the years, significant progress has been made in integrating English into the national curriculum, yet numerous obstacles persist. One of the primary areas that require attention is the enhancement of teacher training programs. Educators must be equipped with modern pedagogical skills and resources that align with contemporary language teaching methodologies. Additionally, there is a pressing need to provide adequate educational materials and promote a more interactive and communicative approach to language learning.
In today's increasingly interconnected world, proficiency in English has become an essential skill. For Iran, investing in effective English language education transcends mere academic policy; it is a strategic necessity that can significantly influence the nation’s future. As educational reforms continue and innovative teaching methods are embraced, there is growing optimism that Iranian students will develop the necessary competencies to engage effectively with the global community, thereby unlocking a wealth of opportunities associated with English language proficiency.
