Optical properties of Al۲O۳/SiO۲ single layer and bilayer anti-reflective nano coatings on float glass by Magnetron Sputtering method

چکیده

In this research, the magnetron sputtering method has been used to apply anti-reflective thin coatings on float glass with a thickness of ۲ mm, prepared by Float Glass Company. First, the glass was cut, and then the surface of the glasses was cleaned and then dried in two stages. Finally, the glass slides were placed in a magnetron sputtering in term of coating silicon oxide, and aluminum oxide single layer and two layers in three different thicknesses of ۱۰-۲۰-۳۰ nm. Then the structure of the layers, as well as the optical properties, were examined using X-ray Diffraction tests in the grazing mode, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope, Spectrophotometry, Colorimetry, and Solar Transmission.For this purpose, thin layers were analyzed by solar spectrum transmittance and colorimetry. The results showed that the three thin-film coats including Alumina, Silica, and two-layer Alumina/Silica coatings with a thickness of ۱۰ nm have the highest light transmission rate compared to other thicknesses. ۹۵% ± ۰.۵% Silicon, ۹۳ ± ۰.۵% Alumina coated and ۹۳% ± ۰.۵% Alumina/Silica double-coated showed a high rate of light transmission, which in terms of economic factors and light transmittance, SiO۲ coating has shown the best result in comparison with Al۲O۳ coated single layer and Al۲O۳-SiO۲ double layer. Furthermore, It has better conditions for industrial use compared to other thin films, Subsequent analyses were defined for the mentioned specimens. X-ray diffraction analysis of the specimens showed that the structure of all specimens at a contact angle of ۱۰-۳۵ degrees showed no sharp peak which showed an amorphous structure. Furthermore, the results obtained from the FESEM showed that no large cracks were seen in the coatings.
