Reducing the quality of groundwater resources undoubtedly has much to do with its quality. A case study in the plain of Razan-Ghahavand has partly recognized and specified this relationship. In these cases, management of water resources plays a key role in controlling and balancing between the two. The hydrograph unit of groundwater resources of the plain Razan-Ghahavand was evaluated in terms of quality and quantity. The results showed approximately 20-meter declining in water levels in the area for 20 years that is the approximate rate of 1 meter per year has been reduced to the area groundwater level. Moreover, according to the analysis of the wells in this area for a period of dry and wet, the EC average during this period in the groundwater has increased 93 micromohos cm. During this period, TH grew by 60 milligrams per liter in the region s water resources.PH ratio indicates decrease in the length of monitoring period and shows the acidification of the water in this region. According to Kemograph, reagents (referrals) and distribution of groundwater salinity in the study area has raised, and the salinity rate has reached more than 1880 micromohos centimeter. In addition to decreasing precipitations and rainfalls, the excessive and more than the specified amount of water resources withdrawal and above all the drilling and operation of unauthorized wells in the aquifer are the most important factors in reducing the groundwater level in the area and as a result followed by a decline in water quality of the plain. This issue will be controlled just by the continuity and systematic management, and the study and executing the floodwater spread plans and artificial recharge to strengthen and balance of aquifers, control and optimize the use of available surface water resources, prevention of exploitation and closure of illegal wells and controlling the operation of authorized wells are including water level control strategies and the environmental crisis reduction in water resources of Razan-Ghahavand plain in the future.
