State-of-the-Art Projects in the Blockchain Industry

Blockchain is a modern decentralized infrastructure and distributed computing paradigm that has graduallyemerged with the increasing popularity of digital cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. It has already attracted theattention of government departments, financial institutions, technology companies and capital markets. Blockchaintechnology has the characteristics of decentralization, time series data, collective maintenance, programmable and safeand trustworthy, and is particularly suitable for building programmable currency systems, financial systems and evenmacro social systems. In this paper some of the most successful projects in the blockchain industry such as Bitcoin,Ethereum, and Hyperledger have been investigated according to the hierarchical architecture of blockchain in order toprovide an inspiration and reference for the future researches and projects.
