چکیده

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of reality therapy onanxiety and resilience of women with children with disabilities defense mechanism wasmalicious.Method: The research method was experimental with pretest-posttest control group. The studypopulation included all children s centers in Yazd city in the first quarter of 1395 wereexceptional. Using sampling of 40 women who had at least one child was disabled. DefenseStyle Questionnaire (DSQ), resiliency, ways of coping, by Lazarus and Flkmn (WOCQ) of themwere Ml and then randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The BeckAnxiety Inventory questionnaire was used to assess the mental health of participants in the fieldof anxiety. The experimental group in 8 sessions 90 sessions fact Dqyqh Ay under treated.Again, both groups of defense styles (DSQ), resiliency, ways of coping, by Lazarus and Flkmn(WOCQ) were performed.results : The results showed that the highest and lowest score on coping strategies in order toescape / avoidance and acceptance of responsibility and the style of dominant defensive style ofmothers in experimental group was immature. Covariance analysis showed that maternal anxietyreality therapy intervention significantly decreased (P = 0.32 < 0.05).conclusion: The results of this research can be concluded that reality therapy has a positiveeffect on reducing anxiety of mothers with disabled children, but had no significant effect onresiliency. The reduction of the use of strategies of avoidance and denial of reality, parents canhelp make more consistent and improve family relationships.
