چکیده

Due to the fast depletion of fossil fuel which can cause severe energy crises and environmental issuses, the development of renewable energy sources and high-efficient energy storage/conversion devices is urgent. Supercapacitors, as one of the promising electrochemical energy storage devices, have played an important role in portable devices and electric vehicles due to their high power density, long cycle life and short charging time in recent years. One of the key factors that determine the performance of electrochemical energy storage devices is the electrode materials. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been applied widely in different applications such as the energy storage and conversion field owning to their high surface areas. Herein, TMU-22/CNT composite was applied as an electrode material for supercapacitor, which was evaluated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvano static charge/discharge measurements in 0.5M K2SO4 as electrolyte. This composite exhibited outstanding specific capacitance of 55.71 F.g-1 at a discharge current density of 1 A.g-1. We expected that this work would open up a new door for MOF applications in the supercapacitors electrode material.
