Synthesis and characterization of nanocomplex (maleic)2 Zn(μ-isophetalic)Ce(maleic)2

چکیده

In the present research study, the reaction between 1 mmol cerium (III) nitrate with 4 mmol maleic acid,1 mmol zinc nitrate salt and 1 mmol isophthaltic acid. The reaction was carried out during 48 hours of reflux at 50° C temperature. The same reaction also was conducted in the ultrasonic environment for comparison purposes (complex 2). The resulting product was identified and studied using UV-Vis and FT-IR methods. Infrared analysis of the intended complex in the carbonyl (C = O) of Maleic acid with a sharp peak was seen in the 1691 cm-1 area. A band was also seen in the 1601 cm-1 area that corresponds to the C = C bonds of the loop. Also, 1596 cm-1 and 1419 cm-1 regions belonged to the loop. Figure 1 shows the sharp peak in 729 and 621 cm-1 regions, which belonged to metal oxides. Electronic spectrum (UV-Vis) complex was recorded at room temperature. In the ultraviolet region, the absorption bands appeared in 215, 224, 287 and 249 nm belonged to the transitions between π → π* ligand and the intended n → π* ligand. Also, there was no d → d transition in the vis region due to the spin arrangement. Further, the results of UV-Vis and FT-IR were consistent with the results recorded using the ultrasonic method. The morphology of complexes synthesized by sonochemistry characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Images show that, the particles size of complex was prepared by sonochemical method about 80 nm.
