First report of the occurrence of two freeliving nematodes and male of Discolaimoides symmetricus Das, Khan & Loof, 1969 from Iran

چکیده
During 2016 and 2017, for identification of nematode fauna in Roodghat area, Sufiyan, East Azarbaijan province, several soil samples were collected from the rhizosphere of different vegetations. The extraction of the nematodes, killing, fixing were carried out using the nematology techniques and the collected nematodes studied based on morphological and morphometric characters. As a result, among the different obtained species, Discolaimoides symmetricus Das, Khan & Loof, 1969 and Mesodorylaimus vulvapapillatus Bagaturia & Eliava, 1966 were also identified. According to the available literature, both species are new reports for Iran nematode fauna. This is also the first record of males of D. symmetricus, with having 11-13 ventromedian supplements, bearing a hiatus, spicules dorylamoid, 30-33 μm long and tail similar in both sexes. Discolaimoides symmetricus is distinguished from D. bulbiferus by longer odontostyle (13-15 vs 10-12 μm), lower c′ value (1.2-1.7 vs 2.3-2.6), greater V value (47-57 vs 43-48) and number of ventromedian supplements (11-13 vs 7-8). Mesodorylaimus vulvapapillatus resembles M. rivalis but it is separated from the latter because of shorter body size (1.44-1.60 vs 1.97-2.76 mm), lower c (14-16 vs 30-55), greater c′ (3.4-3.7 vs 1.5-2.9) and more V (49-53 vs 43-49) values and longer tail (92-109 vs 44-78 μm)کلیدواژه ها
