Survey Clinical signs and outcomes of treatment for children with H1N1 influenza in the fall of 2015 and 2017 in Kerman

چکیده

Background:Influenza H1N1 is an acute respiratory disease that, although it has a new structure every year due to a viral mutation, And this causes a virus with a different surface antigens to be created in the same way as previous ones. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical signs and outcomes of treatment of children with H1N1 influenza in the fall of 132015 and 132017 in Kerman.Methods:This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed and samples of upper respiratory tract discharge in patients with flu-like symptoms in Afzali Hospital were investigated using RRT-PCR method and the data collected are analyzed based on the frequency of data and the Chi-square method.Results:The findings of the study indicate in year 132017 of 37 PCR positive cases were 21male and 16 female samples. For the year 132015 of the 16 positive PCRs, 7 were female and 9 were male. The most frequent age was from the age group of 5 to 8 years. The most common symptoms of h1n1 include fever, respiratory symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, weakness and myalgia, and neurological symptoms.In 132017, all PCR patients were discharged, but in 132015, one patient with positive PCR was dead. In 132017, among the samples in which their PCR was positive 89% of OSELTA were received, and this figure was 88% for 132015.Conclusion: The results of the study showed that some cases of H1N1 influenza admitted to Afzalipour Hospital were similar to external therapies. The results showed that age and sex cannot have a significant relationship with H1N1 influenza. The results also showed that the outcome of treatment for age, sex and vaccine injection was not significantly associated with H1N1 influenza.
