چکیده

Implementation of carbon sequestration projects(CSPs) in rural areas is one of the internationalmeasures of achieving a sustainable environment,with a regional cooperative and logistical approach,and recently is being implemented in rural areas inIran, including Jazmourian in southern Kerman.After two years of implementation of the project,the present study aims to investigate the role of CSPin changing the environmental culture andcorrecting practical behavior of the ruralbeneficiaries in Jazmourian. The research questionsare as follows: what are the manifestations ofchanges in and reproduction of rural beneficiary senvironmental culture, pursuant implementation ofCSP in Jazmourian And whether the changes invillagers’ behavior and practice regardingexploitation of the environment in areas where CSPis being implemented, is the same.2. THEORETICAL FRAMEWORKReproduction means regeneration and recreation ofbeings and places that are endangered and faceextinction. Renovation and reconstructionapproaches lack the required attention toenvironmental values while reproduction is acomprehensive approach with a monolithic,strategic outlook for sustainable development.Reproduction is a unified attitude and a measurewhich results in the solution of the problems andseeks a sustainable situation in terms ofenvironment, economy, society and the physicalaspect of the region.
