چکیده
Tehran (the capital city of Iran) is located in the southern hillside of Alborz Mountain where its northern regions and eastern sides has a compacted topography and a high slope, so that the slope of streets is more than 15%in some areas.To improve safety and willingness to use bicycles as a way of transportation, it is necessary to consider the slope for determining the path and provision of some facilities in order to remove such serious problem.In this paper, study and suggestion for appropriate alternatives was conducted in two parts.In the first part of this paper; to develop a model using GIS functions for Tehran, the surface elevation model (Raster Structure) is generated and the slope of passageways is specified combining passageways layer network (Vector Structure) with an elevation model and through. S H L Considering the above model, the slope of the model network is classified and passageways with a high slope will be determined.Cycling in the slope of less than 3%is desirable. In case the slope and length of the passageways goes beyond the standard extent, it needs to provide some special facilities (supplementary), since it causes danger for cyclists and other forms of transportation.Considering the high cost of supplementary facilities to mitigate difficulties of the steep passageways in various cases, the removal of such streets from proposed bicycle network is inevitable.In the second part of this paper; considering the urban management point of view, it is proposed to use Taxi – Bike modes in order to increase the safety and decrease the costs for citizens through an optimum usage of the facilities and available potentials in Tehran.Significant difference in Tehran s taxi transport system services in comparison with the other cities, despite the numerous problems in the transport system in this city, has some advantages.More than 90% coverage of the main passageways in Tehran by taxi (origin and destination) can provide a compounding system, and the use of its advantages in bike network continuity, makes the inclined passageways immune and facilitates cycling.کلیدواژه ها
