چکیده

This paper investigates the problem of designing cellular manufacturing systems with multi-period cell formation problem, sequence of operations, alternative routings, machine layout, production planning and dynamic system reconfiguration. With considering machine layout, the intracellular material handling is calculated exactly. The problem is modelled through a comprehensive integer programming formulation. The aim of objective function is to minimize intercellular material handling, forward and backward intracellular material handling, machine, reconfiguration, setup, outsourcing and inventory carrying costs. Computational results are presented by solving an example with the linearized formulation.
