چکیده
The demand on energy increases continuously. Petroleum and natural gas are currently the main sources of this energy but the combustion of these hydrocarbons contributes a large fraction of green-house gases and airpollutant emissions. Hydrogen is considered as one of the most promising fuels for generalized use in the futuremainly because it is versatile, energy-efficient, low-polluting, and a renewable fuel. Hydrogen is a high-qualityenergy carrier, which can be used with a high efficiency and zero or near-zero emissions at the point of use. In this study, optimization of salt water electrolysis in parallel-plate electrode channel was done using two kind ofswarm intelligence-based heuristic algorithm: Artificial bee colony algorithm and Particle swarm optimization.So, optimum solutions for the maximum molar flow rate production of hydrogen were determined usingartificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) and Particle swarm optimization (PSO). The adjustable parameters are inlet water flow rate and inlet current. The results of optimization show that a maximum hydrogen molar flux of was produced in both cases, in which the inlet water flow rate and inlet current were and respectively.کلیدواژه ها
