چکیده
Methane, a major component of natural gas, is the least reactive hydrocarbon and thereforeactivation of methane is of considerable interest. For example, a convenient catalyst forselective oxidation to methanol would be technologically important finding [1-2].Thecatalytic reactions mediated by transition-metal clusters have attracted considerable attentionin recent years [3-7].In the present work, we report a theoretical study for the reaction of PtCu+ with CH4.The heteronuclear metal dimer PtCu+ is capable of efficiently dehydrogenating methane.Experimental studies have shown methane can be efficiently activated by Pt+ and producePtCH2+ while Cu+ cannot do dehydrogenation of methane [8].کلیدواژه ها
