چکیده

Wastes and their optimal management is one of the most important environmental concerns of today which has drawn the attention ofexperts more than ever before. The necessity of conformity of modern waste management technologies with the modern society requirementsis not hidden to anyone. Hence, it would be very useful to survey a global model as sample and to localize it in order to improve its actualsituation. In this survey, the principal component of a correct modern waste management are defined and later, these components arereconciliated with the cultural, economical and social characteristics of Iran, as well as the physical and chemical characteristics of localwastes. As the result, the provinces are classified according to the mentioned components and the best technology that could contribute toimprove their specific situation is suggested.
