چکیده
Inhalation of radon gas is the second most important cause of lung cancer after smoking and about 5 to 15 percent of all lung cancers are caused by this way. Because of that it is necessary to study the distribution of radon gas in different parts of Tehran and take the necessary steps to reduce its negative effects. Arc GIS software is an application that can be used effectively for this purpose, various interpolation methods such as Kriging method, Areal interpolation, Inverse distance weighting and many other interpolation methods can be used to calculate the distribution of radon gas but it's not easy to choose a suitable method. In this study we try to select the most appropriate interpolation method, for this purpose, a number of randomly selected data will be compared with the results obtained and subsequently interpolation method which obtain the lowest error will be selected as the best method. Finally, the areas with values more than allowable limits will be specified and thereby provides a guideline that can be used as a comprehensive plan for management and therapy project.کلیدواژه ها
