چکیده

It is widely believed that culture, the most heard but the most neglected area in EFL classes, andlanguage are closely intertwined. In other words, they represent two sides of the same coin.Underlying such a belief is the assumption that language users cannot use language appropriatelyif they are not familiar with the culture of the speakers of the target language. Accordingly, thecurrent paper scrutinized and analyzed the way of incorporating culture into language teachingactivities from oxfords’ (1994) perspective. The exact evaluation of analysis revealed thatteaching culture is a must in EFL classes, above all, teacher is a mediator, and parallel study canbe an ideal method of integrating culture into EFL classes. On the other sense, the inclusion oftarget culture can admittedly promote international understanding, facilitate learning, andmotivate learners in order to receive the highest quality of education possible. In short, it isrecommended that English teachers should be encouraged to pay far more attention to the everpresentcultural information through their daily lives by exposing themselves to foreign mediasuch as reading magazines and books, watching English films, television programs, and using theInternet to be knowledgeable enough for teaching culture in EFL classes.
