چکیده

Munday highlights how translation studies are interdisciplinary, combining linguistic, cultural, andtechnological viewpoints. The aim of this research is to examine the strategies employed in translatingmovie titles. ۲۲۵ data points were examined as follows; Initially, searches were conducted across variousonline platforms to identify English-language action series titles. Subsequently, Persian translations of thesetitles were extracted. Finally, the data was categorized into tables and frequency distributions werecalculated based on Yen's theoretical framework (۲۰۰۹). the most frequently used strategy is literaltranslation, while the least utilized is explication. The strategies of transliteration, providing a new title andadaptation are used in descending order of frequency. findings of this article, which indicate that "literaltranslation" is the most frequently used strategy are similar to this of Shakouri's ۲۰۱۴ study that literaltranslation was also identified as the most commonly employed strategy in translating movie titles butShakouri's study is based on Vinay and Darbelnet's model. Further comprehensive research is needed inthis area, requiring a broader dataset, more diverse genres, and additional sources.
